Global supply chain firm hails health and safety tech

A supply chain solutions firm has praised technology supplied by software firm Work Wallet for transforming its approach to health and safety.
Last year, Incora adopted Work Wallet’s all-in-one software platform, which helps organisations to manage workplace safety, their employees, contractors and visitors by selecting the tools they need for accident and near-miss reporting, audits and inspections, risk assessments, safety briefings and digital inductions.
Based in Derby, Incora is an independent supply chain solutions provider to some of the world’s most critical industries, including aerospace, defence, automotive, industrial and space.
Formed through a combination of Wesco Aircraft and Pattonair, it operates in 24 countries with nearly 4,000 employees.
Due to its scale and close integration with customer supply chains, the firm identified the need to develop its existing, mainly manual environmental, health and safety systems and align its risk management practices across its global network of purpose-built sites.

It met with the Work Wallet team, headed by Adam Civval and Jonathan Gray, and the firm’s technology was quickly rolled out across the business.
Since its introduction, Incora has seen improved safety awareness and reporting, with engagement increasing by 87%, resulting in minor accident reports rising by 22%.
It has also seen a drop of 36% in lost time injury rate, with this positive trend continuing into 2025, with a further 33% reduction.
This performance led to Work Wallet and Incora this year winning the Technological Innovation Project of the Year at the IIRSM Risk Excellence Awards 2025.
Adam said: “The usability of the platform is one of our USPs. You might have a technologically advanced platform but if it is overly complicated, it will not get people engaging with it.
“Our tools make reporting issues simple, getting rid of the paper and the barriers.
“Being all-in-one means that it offers everything people need to manage safety in one place, and the interface offers a synergy of technology and people.”
“Our partnership with Incora has shown how digital innovation can drive real change on a global scale.
“At its core, Work Wallet brings together people and technology to make safety not just a process, but a key part of workplace culture.”
Chris Snowden, global environmental, health and safety director at Incora, said: “By embedding intuitive digital tools across our operations, we have seen an increase in workforce safety engagement and a reduction in lost time incidents.
“But more than that, we have fostered a safety culture that’s owned by everyone, transparent, people-led and purpose-driven.
“The difference we’ve seen is phenomenal. We are able to give reports to the senior executives and stakeholders every week, and not all raised issues are negative incidents; we also receive positive opportunities for improvement.
“The system is an enabler, particularly in working on a global basis.”
