Property group invests in city centre once more

Cavendish & London Property Group has confirmed it has completed a deal for another property in Derby city centre.
The independent property developer has added 14-16 St James’s Street to its portfolio, which is occupied by tenants Leek Building Society.
It is the second property in St James’s Street to be acquired by Cavendish & London.

Last year, the firm completed a deal for 18-22 St James’s Street.
In a statement Cavendish & London said: “This now validates our future plans to change the dynamics of this forgotten street.
“Our plans have been submitted to Derby City Council with a potential of seven apartments with the possibility of a roof-top penthouse.
“We also welcome the news of Derby Market Hall’s recent opening, which has already had a positive impact in the vicinity.”
