Law firm Geldards has advised Dublin-based private equity firm on its first investment in the UK.

The company advised Woodberry Capital on a multi-million pound investment into global talent search firm Redgrave Holdings.

Woodberry Capital is a non-institutional private equity firm led by chief executive and founder Patrick Doran.

Leading on the deal from Geldards was corporate partner Debra Martin, who advised on all elements of the transaction with support from colleagues Jenny Chatten, Sarah Bailey and Manjot Shokar.

Debra, who is based at the firm’s Derby office, said: “We were pleased to advise Woodberry Capital on their first ever investment in the UK.

“This investment represents a huge opportunity for both Woodberry Capital and Redgrave Holdings and we wish them every success for the future.”
