Royalty Officially Opens Derby UTC

Derby was graced with a visit from HRH The Princess Royal last Wednesday (7th October) to officially open the Derby Manufacturing University Technical College.

After being given a tour of the premises and meeting with staff and students, she unveiled a plaque to open the establishment.

We were delighted to host the visit by HRH The Princess Royal today, to mark our official opening. It’s great that the UTC has been over-subscribed for places in Year 10 and we look forward to more students joining us in the coming years
