Bondholder Ivy House Environmental is preparing for its 2019 Harvest Festival to raise money for a local children's charity.
The flagship event, taking place on Thursday 26th September, will see an array of stallholders ranging from testing laboratories and structural engineers to wine merchant and drone surveyors. Stallholders are also given the opportunity to put on their own activities to show an interactive insight into what their business does and to help raise donations for our appointed charity, The Titan Trust.
After a great success last year, the innovation for this year’s Harvest Festival will be the meeting area. With comfortable seating, scenic background and locally sourced food at hand it’s the perfect environment for business networking and to have internal or client meetings outdoors in rural Derbyshire.
The Harvest Festival is a free event for attendees allowing small or large businesses to celebrate success and build relationships. Fun events include Mini Digger Juggling, Tug O’ War, Welly Wanging and Clay pigeon shooting. Beware, it can get quite competitive!
Last year, Ivy House Environmental managed to raise over £1000 for the Titan Trust; a local charity who provide recreational opportunities to underprivileged children through the joy of the sport. For the 2019 event, the hosting organisation is hoping to raise even more.
Richard Sutton, Managing Director of Ivy House Environmental said “Corporate social responsibility is at the heart of everything we do, from ensuring we are sustainable and environmentally friendly, to raising money and providing support for local charities. We are very pleased with how the event went in its first year, but we know 2019 can see the event get even bigger and better. Our Harvest Festival provides an excellent opportunity to network, the potential to collaborate and a chance to share best practice; all in a relaxing setting conducive to a great conversation.”
The event will be held at the Ivy House Environmental offices in Ockbrook, Derby taking place between 1 pm - 4 pm.
