Bondholder Success at Brick Awards

Over 130 property professionals attended the annual Buslness Link East Midlands Bricks Awards on Thursday with several Marketing Derby Bondholders receiving awards.

The awards are held each year to celebrate the work done to shape the regional landscape over the previous 12 months.

Innes England came out top on a great night for them, scooping the Most Active Agent Award, and coming in as a runner up in the Overall Winner category too. This comes as no surprise following their work across Derby, notably on Derby Commercial Park.

Redrow Homes took the Residential Development of the Year award for their Weavers Point scheme in Derby city centre. These apartments sold exceptionally quickly and have been part of the recent city living boom in Derby.

Hodgkinson Builders won Developer of the Year, whilst EKV Design were voted runner-up in the Excellence in Design Award.

Redrow Develops Burton

Construction work is underway at Bondholder Redrow Homes’ new Knights Keep development in Stretton, near Burton-on-Trent.

Infrastructure work has been completed and the foundations laid at the site, which will feature 100 three and four-bedroom homes.

Knights Keep will showcase the Redrow ‘Heritage Collection’, which combines classic exteriors with modern interiors.

Mary Timlin, sales director at Redrow East Midlands, said: “There has been a huge amount of interest in Knights Keep since our initial announcement about the launch of the development, with lots of enquiries from local residents who love living in the area, but want to buy a new property.

“Location and lifestyle are both huge factors when deciding on a home and Knights Keep offers homeowners the very best of both worlds – living in an exclusive development in the heart of a village community, yet close to a range of local amenities and major road networks.

“The development will be launched in November and Redrow staff will be on-hand to discuss purchasing options and advise on the different house styles.”

Expansion for Redrow

Bondholder Redrow has embarked on an eager expansion programme across the East Midlands.

Having completed its purchase of Radleigh Homes, the company has announced plans to increase its output from 200 units a year to more than 500 in the next three years - with the creation of a number of new jobs and opportunities for supplier and sub-contractor recruitment across the region.

Redrow is also looking for strategic sites and land opportunities to enable it to add to its existing portfolio of developments in the East Midlands.

Commenting on the company’s expansion programme, Tom Finnegan, Managing Director for Redrow Homes East Midlands, said: “We are in a strong position to deliver growth and are embarking on a period of considerable investment, which is set to result in the delivery of more quality family homes in great locations.

“This will benefit local customers, colleagues and businesses within the supply chain.”

Redrow Expands into Derby

Major housebuilder Redrow Homes has established a new division in the East Midlands, in Derby, following the acquisition of Radleigh Homes and has now embarked on an ambitious expansion programme across the region.

In addition, Redrow Homes has become a Marketing Derby Bondholder, joining over 300 other businesses in supporting the promotion of the city.

Tom continued: “We are delighted to have joined the other organisations who are committed to promoting Derby as a great place to live and work and look forward to making our contribution to the local business community.”

John Forkin, Managing Director of Marketing Derby, added:  “It is a tremendous vote of confidence in our work that one of the UK’s leading housebuilders is throwing its support behind the scheme and I look forward to working closely with the Redrow team in the coming months.”
