Portixol adds value with Cocoon partnership

Two Marketing Derby Bondholders have spotted an opportunity to help those moving to the UK and make the transition a little easier.

Bondholder Portixol Relocations — which helps companies and employees relocate to towns and cities all over the UK — has partnered with fellow Bondholder Cocoon Vehicles to extend their services to include both short and long-term car hire.

"As Cocoon are able to offer a wide range of vehicle options on flexible terms; this partnership is a perfect fit for us."

Managing Director of Portixol Relocations, Mark Averill, added: “We work across various industries, including aerospace, automotive, healthcare, rail, food and sport, and have clients with many different vehicle needs. As Cocoon are able to offer a wide range of vehicle options on flexible terms; this partnership is a perfect fit for us. Cocoon are a great Derby company who share our values of ensuring customers receive exceptional service.”

Rhys Adams, Marketing Director of Cocoon Vehicles, said: “Working with Portixol makes sense. We have known Carl, Lisa, Mark and their team for a while now and fully understand the relocation service that they provide, their client’s needs and it’s importance for the British economy.”

With a successful second year under its belt relocating business executives and sports professionals, Portixol is encouraging firms to cast a wider net when searching for new employees.

Mark said: "Our message to businesses is to fish in a larger pool when it comes to recruiting staff. That way you'll end up with the best person and Portixol go the extra mile to ensure they are likely to stay. Providing valued extra services, such as vehicle leasing with Cocoon, allows us to help employees settle in and hit the ground running at work even quicker than ever before.”

Lauren relocates to Portixol

Bondholder Portixol Relocations — which specialises in home-finding and relocation services to companies and individuals across the country — has appointed Lauren Docksey as its new Business Relationship Manager.

We’ve known Lauren for a while and I have always been impressed with her professional, calm and personable manner.
— Carl Bridge, owner of Portixol Relocations

In recent months, the firm has attracted new clients in Cheshire, Wiltshire, East Anglia and the East and West Midlands — as well as from Derby itself. The growth has been overseen by Managing Director Mark Averill, who himself joined the business in May 2015. Mark said: "We have received glowing recommendations from companies including Derby-based Ford and Stanley and this has given other businesses the confidence to work with us. By finding new employees a home and helping them quickly settle into the area, they hit the ground running in their new job straight away. Employers have found a winning formula when we work closely with their recruitment teams and Lauren's remit will be to enhance this benefit for employers."

Lauren was previously the wedding and events co-ordinator at a local employer and Carl Bridge — owner of Portixol Relocations — is ebullient about the new recruit: "We've known Lauren for a while and I have always been impressed with her professional, calm and personable manner. Lauren is tailor-made for this role and I've been hugely impressed during the two relocations that we worked together on in Milton Keynes last week. Our sister company The Birchover Residences will also benefit from Lauren's experience when we open our apartment-hotel at the Bridgford Hall wedding venue next Spring."

Capital Expansion for Portixol

Portixol Relocations have expanded their operations into Greater London. The Bondholder Company have appointed Sanjay Jethwa as the Area Manager for Greater London.

We are really excited to be now offering our relocation services in London. One of our biggest clients asked if it was an area we could cover; we immediately went on a recruitment hunt and found our perfect match with Sanjay joining the team.
— Mark Averill, Managing Director

Jethwa has joined the team from RBS, where he had previously worked at Director Level. Having worked and lived in the Greater London area for years, Jethwa brings a wealth of experience and connections.

Two relocate to Portixol

Bondholder Portixol Relocations - which has offices at Riverside Chambers and Darley Abbey Mills - has appointed two new Relationship Managers.

It’s a key priority for us to build this experienced and highly motivated team to enable us to continue to grow at this rapid pace
— Mark Averill, Managing Director of Portixol Relocations

Joining the team after a positive end to 2015 are Phil Roberts and Rebecca Ward.

Managing Director, Mark Averill, commented: "Recruiting two people of the calibre of Phil and Rebecca is a real coup for us. Phil has spent many years as a Business Banking Director covering the whole of the Midlands, so has great knowledge of the areas that we carry out relocations in. Rebecca has held various senior roles in hospitality, including managing public houses, events companies, leisure facilities and wedding venues. Rebecca's experience and, again, her friendly personality has enabled her to quickly fit into the team and provide great advice and comfort when helping people move to the area."

Portixol works closely with global relocation agents, multinational companies and also small and medium-sized firms to find perfect homes for people moving within, and to, the UK. The firm offers local orientation tours, removals, settling-in services, school searched and sourcing short-term accommodation."

Mark added: "It's a key priority for us to build this experienced and highly motivated team to enable us to continue to grow at this rapid pace. I'm delighted to welcome Phil and Rebecca to the team."
