Deaf Alerter

Rebrand for Deaf Alerter

Deaf Alerter has now rebranded to Alerter Group to reflect its expanding portfolio of products.

The Bondholder company specialises in fire alarm systems for deaf people, and have recently began developing radio-based emergency refuge system along with other communications systems for dangerous workplace situations.

Steve Haseldine, Alerter Group chairman, said: "After three years of record breaking sales, the change of company name was a natural step as a result of the growth of our newer product ranges.

"Whilst our market leading Deaf Alerter product is still very important to us, our Refuge Alerter system now accounts for nearly 50 per cent of new product sales.

"We are also using our in-house electronics and software development capabilities to expand into other product areas."

Bondholders scoop Telegraph awards

Bondholder wet suit designer HUUB stole the show at last week's Derby Telegraph Business Awards when it won the coveted Company of the Year award.

The awards ceremony, held at Bondholder Derby Roundhouse, also saw fellow Bondholder Status Social take home the Creative Industries Business of the Year award. The Derby Small Business of the Year award went to owner of Bondholder The Dragon, Bespoke Inns, after facing fierce competition from fellow Bondholders Deaf Alerter and Mercia Image Print. Bespoke Inns also went home with the Derby Sales & Marketing award.
