Bondholders in Pottery partnership

Bondholder Blue Arrow has announced its sole-supply contract for staffing services with fellow Bondholder Denby Pottery.

Sean Clare, Associate Director for Blue Arrow commented about the contract which will provide services for a minium of 12 months "Last year we were delighted to start working with Denby Pottery when they needed some additional support for temporary staffing. Over the last 9 months, the relationship has evolved and we are very proud to call this a true a partnership between two Bondholders."

Chris Williams, Warehouse Manager for Denby Pottery said , "Denby warehouse has been using Blue Arrow's services for almost a year. During that time they have provided us with a number of temporary workers to support our picking and packing operation."

How 'Egg'citing

Bondholder Blue Arrow’s Easter Egg Man has returned for a second year.

In 2017 Blue Arrow, Derby branch set about collecting Easter eggs to donate to local Children’s charities.

Following the success of collecting 750 chocolate eggs last year they wanted to do even better this year.

With incredibly generous donations from friends, family, colleagues, Blue Arrow temporary workers, customers such as Vaillant Boilers, The University of Derby, Intu Centre staff, Sainsbury’s, Swindell & Pearson Ltd & Knights they received 1,240.

Sean Clare, Branch Manager has been out and about donating the eggs to charities across Derby including Umbrella, Children First, Funabil8y at St James Centre, The Derby Children’s Hospital, Bramblebrook Community Centre, Derventio Housing Trust, Safe & Sound, Home Start Derby, Derbyshire Children’s Holiday Centre, Derby in Need. 

Taking about the donation Sean said: “It is something that I am truly proud to have co-ordinated, it is a privilege to be able to impact the lives of the people that benefit from the work that these charities and organisations do every day. This also highlights to the people of Derbyshire, these causes and charities that are on our door step need all the help they can get.  The Blue Arrow mission is to Enhance the lives of everyone that touches Blue Arrow, and that is something we have wanted to display through this activity.  I would like to thank everyone that has made this possible and can’t wait to get the target “eggseeded” again next year as the Easter Egg Man will return!”
