More than just a curry house

It's only been seven weeks since Bondholder Lotus Indian Kitchen opened its doors at fellow Bondholder Mercia Marina’s new piazza, yet during that time the restaurant has been busy with customers intrigued to experience its authentic Indian food.
Lotus is not your typical British curry house. The concept is more like Spanish Tapas, but with Indian street food, grills and - of course - curries being served.
This isn’t formal fine dining, instead it is delicious flavours served how you’d get them in India - with all the dishes cooked to traditional recipes and designed to be shared around the table rather than served in a usual starter and main course order. There is also a wide-ranging drinks menu, including cocktails infused with Indian spices and herbs.
Don't forget if you struggle to get a reservation in the evening, why not pop in at lunchtime when the same all-day menu is on offer? There's also the lighter option of salads or wraps to eat in or take away.
