D2 ready for MIPIM

The largest-ever delegation from Derby and Derbyshire is ready to promote our city and county at MIPIM 2019 – the annual global real estate exhibition held in Cannes, France which will be attended by 25,000 delegates.

A combination of public and private sector officials will join members of Marketing Derby as part of the first joint city and county delegation, playing a full role in the Midlands UK Pavilion supported by the D2N2 Local Enterprise Partnership.

As key Headline sponsor for Team Derby and Derbyshire at MIPIM 2019, the University of Derby, led by Pro Vice-Chancellor Prof. Judith Lamie, will be showcasing its future plans for investment and development including the creation of a student zone in the city and plans for the University Science Park.

Derby City Council, led by Deputy Leader Cllr Matt Holmes will provide an update on the delivery of the City Masterplan and meet investors.

Team Derby and Derbyshire will host an over-subscribed Embassy and have already set up many different meetings with new and existing investors.
