Keynote speakers were Elizabeth Fagan, Chair of D2N2 Local Enterprise Partnership; Cllr. Matt Holmes, Deputy Leader of Derby City Council; Catherine Williams, Head of Regeneration and Major Projects for Derby City Council; Professor Judith Lamie, Pro Vice-Chancellor for External Affairs at the University of Derby, and Frank Horsley, Head of Economic Regeneration for Derbyshire County Council.

Commenting on the Embassy success John Forkin, Managing Director of Marketing Derby added

“This is our 10th embassy held at MIPIM and each year they are more popular.

This is the first year that we have taken a Team Derby and Derbyshire approach at MIPIM and we are delighted to receive positive comments from Elizabeth Fagan as keynote speaker today.

We’ve made a lot of new connections and are developing existing relationships for the city and county. We will be working to cultivate these further in the coming months.”
