Bondholder, multi-sector temporary and permanent recruitment specialists, Sky Recruitment Solutions are celebrating five years in business.
Sky Recruitment has much to celebrate as it reaches its five-year milestone.
Not only has turnover increased for a fifth consecutive year, the team are also opening a new office in Castle Donington in March and renewing the partnership agreement they have with Derby College.
The new office will be headed up by Business Manager, Beckie Elliott who joined Sky Recruitment four years ago as an apprentice.
David Torrington, Managing Director said
“I am so proud that Sky Recruitment Solutions is 5 years old – in an industry where 90%+ of recruitment start-ups don’t last beyond 2 years, I think that it’s a fantastic achievement. We are very proud of our Derby and Derbyshire connections, and immensely grateful to our clients from within Marketing Derby, and throughout the region. Our aim is to continue to become the recruiter of choice within the region, and to serve both clients and candidates with an honest, transparent and innovative recruitment solution for many years to come.”
Beckie Elliott, Business Manager said
“It has been a pleasure working for Sky Recruitment Solutions for nearly 4 years now. I have seen the business grow alongside my own journey. I joined the business in 2015 as a Resourcing Administration Apprentice. I have progressed through the company which has been an adventure and I look forward to taking the business forward as Business Manager of the Castle Donington office. It has been a privilege working for David, and I look forward for this to continue over the years to come.”
Through the partnership with Derby College, employers working with Sky Recruitment will have access to a broad spectrum of candidates from apprenticeship roles to higher management roles, whilst learners from the College will have support in seeking employment and apprenticeship roles.
‘Sky Recruitment Solutions Employer Academy’ provides students with valuable work experience and development opportunities.
The team have joined the college’s Employer Academy programme. This unique partnership between forward-thinking employers and Derby College is gaining widespread recognition for bridging the gap between education and the workplace – equipping students with the skills and attitudes they need to be successful in the working world.
