Bondholder and multisector recruitment business, EMBS, recently celebrated its 15th year and announced its move to a group structure following a period of record-breaking growth across its three recruitment divisions.
EMBS will now incorporate three subsidiaries; EMBS Engineering Ltd, EMBS IT Ltd and EMBS Property Ltd.
As part of this expansion, James Hall, 28, has been appointed Director within EMBS Engineering Ltd.
Commenting on his appointment, James Hall said: “I’ve been working closely with the leadership team for the last three years and I am delighted to join the Board as Director of EMBS Engineering Limited. This restructure will allow us to specialise in additional areas where there are significant skill shortages”.
Explaining the move to three company divisions, Ian Stevens, an EMBS founding Director, said: “For many years we’ve been running three recruitment businesses within one company which can be very challenging as they all operate very differently. By setting up three stand-alone companies, it has allowed us plan and think with greater clarity strategically”.
Director Jamie Elliss, who founded EMBS along with Ian Stevens and Simon Bucknell, said: “It’s incredible that we can now offer equity to our highest performing employees across all three subsidiaries. This certainly sets us apart from other recruitment businesses and ensures that our people are working towards something they can own in the future”.
Director Simon Bucknell concluded: “Everything seems to have come together for our 15th birthday and it feels like a logical progression. We’ve worked very hard on leadership, strategy, specialisms and the development of our team. We have created a clear vision and business plan for each of the companies in the group and we’re really pleased for James and look forward to working with him as a Director”.
