Bondholder Hunters was started 90 years ago by the two Hunter brothers in the same premises that it occupies today on Babington Lane. Since 1928 Hunters has been a specialist in luxurious furniture and accessories, including flooring, bedrooms and much more. The company strives to provide the very best in quality and service and is proud to still be an independent family-run business and Derby's longest established furnishing store.
Its commitment to quality means that much of our furniture is made within the UK which has a world-class manufacturing industry for upholstery and bed making.
Built in the 1920s its central Derby showroom houses the widest possible range of well-known brands over three floors, displaying beautiful and inspirational ideas for your home.
To coincide with its 90th anniversary Hunters has launched a new logo and fascia. It will also be holding a special weekend event where it will be launching its new Neptune kitchens with Aga & Everhot cookery demonstrations. There will be up to 30% off furniture and accessories from Friday 5th - Sunday 7th October.
Talking about the milestone Matthew Sheard, Director of Hunters said “We're really excited and proud to reach such a phenomenal anniversary of nine decades in the City. “The renovation is something that we have been working on for the last 5 years and is now reaching completion. The aim with our new image was to achieve a quality style with a modern feel which represents our business. It's a journey that we have taken with our existing customers, whilst gaining many new ones along the way.”
