Bondholder Rhodes Wealth Management Ltd., a Senior Partner Practice of St. James’s Place Wealth Management, is moving from Pride Park to a farm conversion in Brailsford after nearly trebling its turnover in one year.

Its much bigger new home will mean it can take on more staff to cope with the big increase in workload.

The company, established in 2007 by Adam Rhodes in his parents’ garden shed, now has a client base of more than 1,000 households and businesses, including many across Derby and Derbyshire.

In 2017, it nearly trebled its turnover on the previous year and is forecasting to nearly double it again in 2018.

Rhodes Wealth Management employs a team of five financial advisers and 11 support staff who provide face-to-face wealth management advice and will move to Luke Lane in October.

It will maintain many of the attractive features of its new headquarters - a barn conversion which was the former showroom of tile company, Stoneworks.

Operations manager Tristan Gilbody said: “We are very excited about the move and it will enable staff numbers to increase to 20 by the end of the year.

“Next year we imagine we will have between 25 and 28 total staff as we look to continue our growth in a sustainable fashion.”

Rhodes Wealth Management’s services include investment planning, corporate financial planning, retirement planning, tax and estate planning and intergenerational planning.

Managing director Adam Rhodes said: “Our business has grown because we focus on maintaining long-term relationships with our clients to offer them financial peace of mind.

“By demonstrating distinct quality, integrity and excellence, we have become a source of trusted advice.

“However, we differ from our competitors because we go far beyond basic financial advice. Over the years, we have become our clients’ friends.”

Tristan also said: “We are very much looking forward to beginning this new chapter in Rhodes Wealth Management’s development and meeting the people of Brailsford and nearby villages. We intend to play an active role in community life.

“We also believe that our attractive new office with dedicated meeting spaces and big car park will be make our existing clients feel more comfortable than our home at Pride Park which we have outgrown.”
