Bondholder Ask the Chameleon, established by Rachel Hayward, has been selected to be in the 'Small Biz 100' as part of the national Small Business Saturday campaign.
The purpose of Small Biz 100 is to raise the awareness and profile of smaller businesses across the UK, highlighting one business per day for the 100 days leading up to Small Business Saturday on the 1st December. The 2018 Small Biz 100 are drawn from every corner of the UK and reflect the vibrancy of the UK’s 5.5 million small businesses.
Rachel intends to use her day on the 25th November 2018 to showcase companies and people who are not a "typical” entrepreneur in the East Midlands, but those she has identified who work with innovation at the heart of their business. Rachel will be developing a series of Podcasts talking to and exploring approaches to innovation with special guests from her network, one of which can be heard here.
Writing bids, tenders, and grant applications for companies looking to grow through commercial and local authority tenders, Ask the Chameleon also writes business awards for clients ranging from small businesses, to charities and larger organisations. Rachel equally has a passion to support entrepreneurs and fresh thinkers of the future, which was part of the Small Biz 100 submission.

Small Business Saturday is the UK’s most successful small business campaign and is in its 6th year. Last year it saw £748m spent with small businesses across the UK on Small Business Saturday, up 4% on the previous year. The campaign trended at number one in the UK on Twitter on the day with more than 115,000 campaign-related tweets being sent, reaching over 115 million people globally.
Rachel was also recently shortlisted for two awards in the East Midlands Women's Awards of Outstanding Woman in Professional Services and Outstanding Woman with Community Impact.
