This summer The Docks Eatery will be stepping aside to let Bondholder Hide Burger Bar take centre stage.
Mum and daughter business duo Sarah and Liv Pritchard, owners of the two establishments and Winners of the ‘Outstanding Achievement Award’ at the Derby Food & Drink Awards 2017, have decided to make a break from the cafe by day and burger bar by night to create an indulgent offering that draws upon the inspiration and flavours already available at Hide.
Liv said “We wanted to simplify our offer, and Hide now being open all day allows us to explore exciting new food options.
“So, to make it a little bit different we’re adding some interesting items to the menu like nduja cheese and fried egg fries, buttermilk fried chicken and waffle with maple syrup and sprinkled with truffle salt, cage-free soft scrambled eggs and chives with cheddar cheese, caramelised onions and sriracha mayo in a warm brioche bun.”
Hide is a contemporary city burger bar that prides itself on serving 100% freshly ground Derbyshire beef burgers, and as part of the change will have a new menu, a hunger-busting ‘Dirty Brunch’ and bottomless Prosecco.
A spruced up decor and new signage will complete the transformation.
Sarah Pritchard said “The dirty brunch is something we're quite excited about. We think you're going to love the food we've got in mind.”
From today (Tuesday 10th July) Hide will be launching their dirty brunch menu with bottomless prosecco which will be on offer all day at Hide Burger bar. Hide will also be opening on Sundays.
