Bondholder Serjeants is celebrating 40 years in business and setting its sights on future growth.
Founded in 1978 by the late Andrew Serjeant, the team of professionally qualified patent and trade mark attorneys work with a range of businesses from multi-nationals to SMEs, as well as with individuals who want to protect their innovative ideas, product designs and brands.
Serjeants moved to its head office in Leicester’s innovation hub, the Dock, in 2015 having previously been located in The Crescent. The move revitalised the company and located it in the heart of Leicester’s hi-tech industry. A year later, Serjeants opened its Derby office at the iHub innovation centre at Infinity Park to support the local hi-tech transport and manufacturing sector. The company also has a third office in Lincoln.
Commenting on the milestone, Darran said: “We are delighted to be celebrating the 40th anniversary of Serjeants.
"We are extremely proud of how the business has evolved and the positive reputation we have earned through the commitment of our specialist and highly-skilled team to clients and to the firm itself.
"We look forward to growing the team in the near future and continuing to drive our innovative and fresh approach to providing intellectual property advice.”
Fellow partner, Peter, said: “I have been at Serjeants since 1989 and it has been great to see the firm grow and adapt to the changing business climate, as well as to be involved with developments at the forefront of technology during that time.
"Our friendly team is tremendously experienced in offering a diverse range of businesses the very best IP support and advice and we hope to honour the hard work of our staff with our birthday celebration later this year.”
