Supporting Young Talent

Bondholder Armsons are supporting the development of young talent with the appointment of Reece Kersey as trainee quantity surveyor.

Completing the Level 4 Higher National Certificate in Professional Construction alongside his work at Armsons will enable Reece to apply his learning in a practical setting. In his new role, Reece will gain experience in all aspects of the business, from administration to the production of cost reports and client liaison. He will also shadow the three directors who work on a diverse range of projects.

Commenting on Reece’s appointment, Steve Fernie, director of Armsons, said: “We’re very happy to welcome Reece to the team and support him with his studies. It’s great to see young people who are interested in the industry. Reece is doing well and shows real promise. We look forward to help him achieve his ambition of becoming a qualified chartered surveyor.”

After obtaining his Level 4 Certificate, Reece hopes to study for a Level 6 Higher National Diploma at Stephenson’s College or follow an RICS accredited university course in quantity surveying and commercial management.
