Derbyshire based developers and Bondholder PMW Property has completed its Optimum Business Park development at Swadlincote.
After purchasing the land set off William Nadin Way together with a substantial office park, the initial focus was on the disposal of the available offices. The office park was taken from two occupiers under the former owners through to full occupation within a matter of months by PMW and their agents Tim Gilbertson of Bondholder FHP and Phil Randle of Salloway.
The next phase of development on the site saw PMW commence the speculative build of ten warehouse/industrial units constructed in two terraces, set on a securely fenced and gated site. Practical completion of that development has now occurred with six of the ten buildings already let or sold with a range of national and local occupiers, the last four units remaining already generating substantial interest.
Agents for the scheme are Tim Gilbertson of FHP and Phil Randle of Salloway.
Tim said: “The commercial property market in the East Midlands has been crying out for new build space for a number of years and we were delighted when our clients, on the back of the success that we had in marketing their two banks of offices at the front of the site decided to speculatively build ten high calibre warehouse or industrial units.
“To myself and my joint agent Phil Randle of Salloway the success that we have encountered came as no surprise with the quality of build augmented by a great location in a favoured and established industrial and distribution spot.
“The rewards of our efforts are clear to see with six of the units now let or sold and interest in the remaining units continuing.”
