Successful harvest for Ivy House

Bondholder Ivy House Environmental has hosted its first ever Harvest Festival and raised over £1,000 for charity.

The event, which took place oat Ivy House’s offices in Ockbrook, Derby, has received positive feedback, with its relaxed nature and perfect blend of business and pleasure being particularly well received.

Ivy House is renowned for providing highly-specialised contaminated land, ground engineering and waste management services to the land, construction and property industries throughout the UK and is well known for its corporate social responsibility ethos.

It was this ethos that inspired the company to devise the festival, which welcomed attendees from all walks of business life.

The well-attended afternoon saw people come together to network, enjoy quality food and drink, take part in numerous activities and – importantly – raise money for a worthy cause in the form of the Titan Trust; a local charity which provides invaluable recreational opportunities and facilities to underprivileged children – facilitated through using the power of sport.

Richard Sutton, Managing Director at Ivy House, said: “We’re absolutely delighted that our first Harvest Festival has been such a success. It’s inspired us to continue with the format and we’ll be looking to make next year’s event even bigger.

“Our sincere thanks go to the exhibitors on the day, everyone who helped organise the event and, of course, the local business community who came out in force.

“Through the generosity of those present, we were able to raise over £1,000 for a very worthy cause in the Titan Trust, which will help create a positive and very tangible difference to disadvantaged children in our community.”
