A significant number of Marketing Derby Bondholders are working together to bring Derby Festé back to the city centre streets in September and turn the plans into a reality for the 11th event.
The event includes the Festé World of Circus on Friday night, street entertainment on Saturday afternoon and a celebration of South Asian culture on Saturday night and is sponsored by bondholders Derby City Council, Derby Cathedral Quarter BID, intu Derby, Park Farm Shopping Centre, Riverlights and the University of Derby.
Marketing and promotions have been coordinated again by Gravity Digital Ltd who has worked alongside Bondholders Future Proof Films, JJ Public Relations, Mercia Image Print, DerbyDaysOut and Square One. Meanwhile fellow Bondholders IN magazine and Derby Telegraph are media supporters.
Derby Festé Artistic Director Stephen Munn from Déda said: “Festé is a true partnership of a vast number of organisations and businesses – bringing together a range of committed individuals who work really hard to make the annual event a reality.
“It is this combination of talent and effort that ensures that Festé always pushing the boundaries, brings the unexpected and unusual to the city and creates unforgettable memories.
“The fact that so many Bondholders are at the heart of the continued success of Derby Festé is testament to the widespread passion for cultural activity in the city and we are also particularly grateful for the input from Artcore, Baby People, Arts Council England and the Without Walls Associate Touring Network.”
