Bondholder Derby College’s Broomfield Hall has topped the Landex league table.
Broomfield Hall near Morley is one of 39 Landex land-based colleges in the UK and offers a wide range of land-based programmes including Agriculture, Arboriculture, Animal Care, Countryside Management, Equine, Floristry and Horticulture.
Landex, the UK organisation representing the interests of land-based colleges and the industries they serve, has published achievement data this week.
The organisation ranks Derby College at the top of the league tables with the highest overall achievement levels for 16 to 18-year-old students - 96.5% compared with the UK average of 86.3%.
For students aged 19 and above, Derby College has the second highest achievement rate with 95.2% compared to the national average of 84%.
Head of Broomfield Hall Eileen Swan said: “We are obviously delighted with our performance in this national league table.
“It is testament to the quality of teaching, the wide range of work experience that our students are provided with and the high quality facilities that we have here to support these important vocational qualifications.”
