Bondholder Derby Brewing Company is set to release 10% of its business to crowdfunding investors so that it can embark on an expansion plan.
The campaign is being launched on Crowdcube so that the company, which already runs The Brewery Tap, Queen's Head, The Greyhound and The Kedleston Country House Hotel, can expand its activities.
To facilitate these exciting plans Derby Brewing will be releasing up to 10% of the business with shareholders able to purchase shares from £100. Shareholders will receive dividends and rewards depending on their level of investment.
Derby Brewing Company was set up in 2004 by our head brewer Trevor Harris who started his brewing career in 1991 when the brewery was built onto The Brunswick Inn in Derby, creating the first brew pub of the modern era.
Speaking of the development plans, Managing Director Paul Harris commented: “Our goal is to make 2017 a big year, launching our new crafted range, developing our venues, opening a new site, as well as sharing our great beers with the world.
"Going forward there are many options for continued growth across a number of markets. Over the years it has been quite a ride and we love the idea of as many people as possible being a part of what we are doing, being part of our exciting plans and of course enjoying a few beers along the way!”
Trevor Harris continued: “It’s incredible to see the continued evolution of the business. We love the idea of the people of Derby and further afield becoming part of our exciting plans, here’s to more great beers and venues for everyone to enjoy!”
The Crowdcube campaign is expected to go live on Monday 17th April - for further information and to pre-register click here.
