Bondholder FHP has helped deliver a new restaurant serving local artisan and organic food, in the former Post Office building on Victoria Street.
The Post House Derby is a hub in which eight local independent producers each have an assigned area on the ground floor, alongside a communal dining area and bar for customers, and is due to open in May 2017.
Jade Devall, managing director of The Post House Derby, said: “This building is the perfect opportunity for our business which we have been planning for a while now. With its industrial features and heritage it makes the perfect place for our restaurant and bar. Derby needs a very different take on food and drink and we will be bringing 8 of the very best local independent companies from around the East Midlands”.
Darran Severn from FHP Property Consultants added: “The leisure scene in Derby has evolved over the last 18 months with a good mix of national and independent operators opening within the City Centre. We are continually speaking with other bar and restaurant operators but there are fewer well placed opportunities available.”
