Bondholder Smith Partnership are working in collaboration with fellow Bondholder Derbyshire County Cricket Club for the ICC Women’s World Cup legacy event, on Thursday 27th April, with guest speaker Sally Gunnell OBE.
The event will be an opportunity for hundreds of local business club partners to discuss how the county of Derbyshire can use the global cricket tournament to help women and girls to be their best.
Claire Twells, Partner at Smith Partnership, said: "We feel very privileged to be involved in this event, as it builds on the Sport England’s award winning This Girl Can campaign, and we believe Sally’s speech will be a catalyst to enable more women to get involved in sport across the county.
“The partners at the firm are very passionate about being involved in sport and understand the positive role it plays in binding the local community together and inspiring people of all ages to be active.
“Derby is a thriving sporting City with teams competing at the highest level, therefore any opportunity to encourage people who are not involved to try something new is an excellent platform to be involved in.”
