During this celebration which coincides with British Pie Week (6th-12th March), Walter Smith will be launching their ‘Wyton Wonder Pie’, created at their Huntingdon shop, which boasts a number of celebrity fans. The Wyton Wonder Pie was awarded Best Hot Pie at the Butchers Q Guild Smithfield Awards 2017 by Food Writer and Critic Tom Parker-Bowles, with Walter Smith also Winning ‘Best English Pork Product’.
Gary Capell, Retail Director at Denby Pottery, said: “The addition of Walter Smith Farm Shop at Denby Pottery Village has given a real buzz to the site.
"Denby Pottery has food at its heart when designing its tableware and it seems a natural step to include a quality farm shop at Denby Pottery Village putting food on Denby plates.”
