Figures have been announced for Bondholder QUAD’s recent exhibition, What a Loving, and Beautiful World by Japanese collective teamLab, smashing all previous records.
The exhibition attracted over 19,000 visitors, and featured an installation of projected computer generated artworks featuring twenty-two Sino-Japanese nature-inspired characters, including sun, moon, water, trees and birds, by the calligrapher Shishū.
Adam Buss, CEO of QUAD, said: “This exhibition has brought in so many new visitors to the venue. It is testament to how potentially complex digital technology can be presented in an inspiring and accessible way to engage with audiences of all ages.”
QUAD Curator Peter Bonnell added “What a Loving, and Beautiful World’ is actually about people coming together and these visitor figures demonstrate the appeal of great art.”
