The University's Creative Gurus

The University of Derby’s Internship Programme recently had a creative makeover thanks to fellow bondholder, threeguru, whilst the programme itself gained a #DIP100 new recruit.
After successfully winning the University’s pitch, the gurus developed a vibrant new communications campaign.  Involving two different facets for both the student and prospective employer, the new creative had to appeal to both audiences, whilst maintaining a clear University brand identity.
Talking about the new campaign, University of Derby Employer and Community Engagement Manager, Amber Woodfull said  ‘We have found working with threeguru on the branding for the Derby Internship Programme a refreshing and enjoyable experience.  The team are responsive, friendly and creative with equal measure (not to mention patient!) and have transformed our brand into a cohesive and engaging campaign that makes a great impact’
On board with the University’s objectives and with a collective history of offering opportunities to graduates, threeguru were keen to join the programme again and are delighted to welcome recent graduate Sam Brown-Hawryliw to the expanding team.
Graphic Design and Visual Communication graduate, Sam joins threeguru at an exciting time and his aptitude for all things creative has seen him develop the recent festive campaign ‘Have a Guru-vy Christmas’ which has been a big hit with both clients and the guru team.
Threeguru Creative Director, Chris Reynolds, comments ‘Having access to such a pool of local talent is commercially advantageous to us and we are delighted to welcome Sam as we strengthen and look to grow the business in 2017’.
Amber Woodfull added ‘The internship programme is a fantastic way for students and graduates to access short term, valuable work experience with local organisations. SME’s may also be eligible for a £500 subsidy towards the cost of an intern and we are still looking for employers to offer roles up until the 20th February.  If you think your organisation could benefit, please get in touch’
