Applications have opened early for the second annual Derby Business Games due to the resounding success of the inaugural event.
A maximum 32 teams of eight can enter.
Teams compete in a wide range of competitions from rounders and dodgeball, to egg and wheelbarrow races. The afternoon finishes with relays and a tug of war finale, before trophies and medals are presented.
One of the main winners at the first event this summer was Bondholder FHP, who won the rounders, sack race and wheelbarrow events.
HUUB Events organiser Claire Duffin said: “The first Derby Business Games were such a huge success that we are already getting calls from companies wanting to reserve a place in the 2018 re-match.
“Teams will be entered on a first-come, first-serve basis so I would urge colleagues to get the date in their diary now and put their names down early to avoid disappointment.”
Fiona Moffat, Managing Partner at Timms, said: “Derby Business Games was so much fun that we were keen to work with HUUB Events to bring the event back for summer 2018.
“Everybody entered into the friendly but competitive spirit at this summer’s event and it was great to see so many people recapture their youth and hark back to their school sports day.”
