Bondholder Bombardier has secured a £647m contracts, including a £542m deal with Corelink Rail Infrastructure to build and maintain 333 train carriages for the new West Midlands Trains franchise.
Bombardier will supply its new Aventra vehicles, and will also provide maintenance and support services.
Today, the company has also announced a £105m deal with Derby based Porterbrook to supply 60 electric trains.
