Bondholder Treetops Hospice Care is celebrating being shortlisted for not one, but two awards in this year’s 3rd Sector Care Awards for their work supporting adults with life-limiting conditions.
The charity is a finalist in the End of Life Care Award category for their Hospice at Home service and in the Contribution to Sector Development Award category for a pilot project involving personal health budgets.
The Awards celebrate and showcase the innovation and care excellence of the not-for-profit care and support sector. Hundreds of charities enter the awards each year with winners announced at a special ceremony on 6 December.
Phil Shreeve, director of clinical services at Treetops, said: “We’re absolutely delighted to be shortlisted in the awards. We’re incredibly proud of the services we offer to local people and know just how much they are valued and appreciated – so to receive some national recognition is the icing on the cake."
