There's no question that Derby's food and drink offering has thrived in last two years — from the fantastic array of restaurants, cafés, pubs and bars across the city to Bondholder intu Derby's recent drive to establish itself as a destination for dining.
One of the forces behind the regeneration of Derby's food and drinks scene is Bondholder FHP, which has recently announced its 16th bar/restaurant to be secured by the firm in the city.
Carluccio's will be joining other deals closed by FHP such as MEXico, Yo! Sushi, and Byron Hamburgers amongst others. The commercial property agent has also brought established brands to the city centre including Las Iguanas and Prezzo on Friar Gate and Turtle Bay on the Wardwick.
David Hargreaves, Director of FHP, commented: "Derby has been under-served for far too long, which is surprising given the wealth of investment and its strong catchment. It is now finally getting the quality of operators you would expect to see in a city of its size."
Alan Pearson, Director of FHP, added: "This is far from the end of catering and leisure interest, with further lettings to be announced. The city is now being recognised for its untapped potential, which is clearly shown by the wealth of brands we have been able to attract to the city."
