Bondholder maber architects is set for its next phase of growth with a new business plan in place to help steer the practice through to 2025.
The first stages of this plan have already been implemented with a series of new appointments, a refurbished head office and the development of a new website to reflect the company’s creative focus.
Mark Hobson, Managing Director at maber architects, said: “When I took over as MD in 2004, I focused on bringing formal business planning to the practice and overseeing its successful development. This has involved a strategic planning approach, which has helped us navigate the changing economic cycles of our industry to make sure that we remain successful and profitable year on year."
“Key to our ongoing success has been the recruitment of high calibre staff, cross sector expertise, providing a first class service and positioning ourselves as a creative, design-led practice. We have also looked to London as a source of new clients to help sustain our business and this combined with the opening of a London office in 2013 has helped grow our reputation and provide us with a broader national profile."
Looking ahead, the goal is to extend maber’s offer beyond conventional architecture and interior design to a more holistic asset-based design service offer.
