Derby's RTC Business Park - owned by Bondholder LCR - has seen its phase one redevelopment completed by Sanderson Weatherall which saw 48,500 sq ft of upgraded space as well as improvements to communal areas.
Chris Eglin, Partner at Sanderson Weatherall, said: "This modernisation of the RTC Business Park is elevating the quality of office accommodation available helping to attract new businesses to the park, whilst giving those that already operate there the opportunity to expand and grow."
Local joint agent Nick Hosking of Bondholder Innes England said: "The RTC has been a real unsung success story for the City over the last 18 months attracting occupiers including Siemens, Hitachi , Serco and Network Rail to the recently refurbished phase one space . Securing such rail and hi tech engineering jobs illustrates the benefit of LCR’s speculative refurbishment with the support of the City Council RGF."
The £3m scheme was part of a wider modernisation project. The RTC Business Park is home to 1,100 staff over 430,000 sq ft of space. The redevelopment was part-funded by Derby City Council's Regional Growth Fund.
