£674 Air China Contract with Rolls-Royce

Bondholder and hi-tech giant Rolls-Royce has been chosen once again by Air China for its Trent 1000 engines.

Boosting Rolls-Royce's order book by £674 million, the Trent 1000 engines will power 15 new Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft.

The airline currently has 49 Trent 700-powered Airbus A330 in service with a further four to be delivered, along with ten Trent XWB-powered Airbus A350XWB on order.
