Bondholder Derby City Council has approved a £2.4 million investment to fund a major redevelopment at Derbyshire County Cricket Club.

The creation of state-of-the-art facilities at The 3aaa County Ground is a flagship project for Derby. As well as raising the profile of Derbyshire cricket both nationally and internationally, it will create jobs for local people, opportunities for local businesses and will increase visitor numbers, bringing additional spending power to Derby.

In addition, the Club is seeking a new Marketing & Promotions Manager on a permanent contract to deliver the marketing of the Club's Conference & Events, Cricket for Business, Ticketing, Membership and Community activity.
