Hi-tech giant and Marketing Derby Bondholder, Rolls-Royce, has announced major plans to modernise its site in Sinfin and to include a new “aerospace campus”.

Rolls-Royce has said it wants to invest “significantly” in its civil aerospace division at Sinfin, replacing ageing buildings that date back to the 1940s with brand new ones on a campus, along with some associated road network improvements.

The new campus would be similar to the firm's buildings found in the US and Singapore, a sign of Rolls-Royce's long-term commitment to Derby.
