The £100 million regeneration of Castleward is a key element of the derby Cityscape Masterplan, aiming to provide a highly sustainable, mixed-use urban village including 800 new homes on what was an unattractive and underused brownfield location on the edge of the city centre.
With Phase 1 in development of 163 residential units, the new Derby Boulevard provides an attractive pedestrian link between the city centre and Derby's railway station.
"We are very aware that Derby is at the forefront of the country's 'provinical' economic growth and that its city centre offer has to reflect the aspirations of those people who choose to live and work here. We are very optimistic about the continuing strength of the market for new homes in this strategic location."
