The Boot wins AA Pub of the Year

Combining everything you could hope to find as both a local and a travelling guest, The Boot Inn — part of Bondholder Bespoke Inns — has been recognised for its excellence all-round as it scoops the AA Pub of the Year award.

This is an amazing accolade for all the hard work and effort we have put in to make The Boot what it is today.
— Heidi Taylor, owner of The Boot Inn

Heidi Taylor, owner of The Boot Inn, said: "We are absolutely thrilled to win this superbly prestigious award. The AA has a fabulous standing within our industry so to be recognised like this is an amazing accolade for all the hard work and effort we have put in to make The Boot what it is today. The team have been brilliant from day one and this award rubber stamps everything we have tried to do and achieve."

The Boot is a 17th Century coaching inn found in Derbyshire's historic village of Repton. It was extensively and sympathetically renovated to a high standard before reopening in February 2015.

The Boot now offers luxurious accommodation, classic and contemporary dishes and Boot Beer, which is brewed in The Boot's own micro-brewery. Head Chef, Rob Taylor, has curated a menu of dishes that ensures taste and flavours are the driving force when suiting every palate — from worldwide influences to British classics.
