Bondholder HUUB will today be celebrating the opening of its new showroom — the former Park Bikeworks building — with about 200 staff, customers and fellow Marketing Derby Bondholders.

HUUB will be going all-out with a screening of the triathlon event from the Rio Olympics at Bondholder QUAD, the announcement of a new sponsorship deal and various guests of honour set to attend the event.

We are obviously hoping for Alistair and Jonny to emulate their London 2012 success and, hopefully, spurred on by some good positive thinking from the crowd here in Derby, we hope that they will both be back on the podium in Rio.

Dean Jackson, Founder of HUUB, said: "Some of the finest triathletes and para-triathletes in the world will be wearing our wetsuits and swim suits so the Olympics is a massive event for our young company."

He continued: "We are obviously hoping for Alistair and Jonny to emulate their London 2012 success and, hopefully, spurred on by some good positive thinking from the crowd here in Derby, we hope that they will both be back on the podium in Rio."

Special guests include representatives from the City of Derby swimming club, whose star swimmer Adam Peaty took home gold and silver in Rio whilst breaking two world records.

Nine-year-old Bailey Matthews will also be attending the event, who set up and carried out the Be More Bailey triathlon in partnership with HUUB back in July.

In the new showroom, HUUB will be showcasing its range of wetsuits and apparel along with Boardman Bikes and top French sunglasses and helmet manufacturer Ekoi.
