Unilever invests in Derby

Bondholder Webhelp, which is headquartered in Paris and employs 2,000 at its Pride Park complex, has today announced it has been selected by global giant Unilever to deliver customer contact services across Europe.

Unilever owns 400 brands including Marmite, Ben & Jerry’s and Persil. Webhelp invested in Derby in 2011, after an intense campaign, led by Bondholder Derby City Council and Marketing Derby, following Citibank’s sale of Egg. The Unilever deal extends Webhelp’s existing Derby contracts with Sky and EE/BT.
