Derby Film Festival breaks record

This year's ten-day Derby Film Festival, which took place at Derby QUAD earlier this month, has reported its best year yet.

Compared to last year's festival, ticket sales saw over a 30% increase. The festival presented a programme full of film previews, special events and guests of honour including Simon Callow and Sir Ben Kingsley.

Exclusive previews this year included: an opening night preview of Florence Foster Jenkins (PG), Green Room (18), Mustang (15), Do You Own The Dancefloor? (15) with a Q&A with the film's director Chris Hughes, The Snarling (Advised 18), The Case of Hana and Alice (12A), Generation Right and Live from New York (12A).
