Derby's rail cluster expands again

A Scottish rail consultancy is the latest firm to open new premises in Derby, home to the world's largest cluster of rail companies for 175 years.

Racon, which provides consultancy services to the rail industry, will be moving into the newly-refurbished premises. Derby office manager, Steve Smith, said: "We were looking for a high quality office environment on Pride Park in close proximity to our customer base and Riverside Court fitted the bill perfectly in terms of providing a prestigious base from which to launch the Derby office."

Racon Management Services has taken 1,150 sq ft of space at 9 Riverside Court on Pride Park in a deal brokered by Bondholder FHP Property Consultants.
