China-Britain Business Council Outbound Conference

As well as delegates from Derby, forty organisations from across the Midlands Engine have travelled to China, to coincide with the fourth annual China-Britain Business Council Outbound Conference being held in Shanghai this Thursday.

The one day conference run by the China-Britain Business Council, and supported by the Department for International Trade, will present over 11 Derbyshire development opportunities to private Chinese investors.

The conference has been designed to enable British and Chinese companies to identify practical opportunities and to realise investment partnerships in the UK.

China is the third largest export market for the Midlands Engine, with over £4.5bn of goods exported to the area.
