Media Campaigns

Marketing Derby's core purpose is to raise the city's profile and are also supporters of media campaigns which aim to support individuals and businesses from Derby. 

Previous projects created together with the Derby Telegraph include a campaign to keep tax jobs within Derby "Hands Off Our Taxmen" (HOOT),  a "Derby Bites Back" campaign to support businesses through the recession and also a "Change Track" campaign in response to a decision to award a UK train manufacturing contract to an overseas consortium, rather than the Derby-based scheme. 

Marketing Derby also work in partnership to produce special supplements in the Derby Telegraph including a celebration of the 100 years which Rolls-Royce have been in the city and also the rail industry.

The HOOT campaign saved 290 jobs in the city and the Derby Bites Back campaign helped support 500 businesses through the recession.
